Homemade Pumpkin Hot Chocolate Recipe

When I think of hot chocolate, I usually think of the Christmas holidays and beyond. But this year I wanted the warm drink before that. It got me thinking that everything this time of year is pumpkin, so why not combine the two and make a pumpkin hot chocolate?

  1. First, add all the ingredients to a small sauce pan on the stove.
  2. Then, stir it all up with a whisk as it warms up to a simmer.
  3. Pour into your favorite mugs and add a little whip cream.
  4. Last, but not least, enjoy!

You can also use a crock pot if you plan to scale this recipe up for a larger group. However, it will just take longer to come up to the temperature to get all the ingredients mixed together.

How Much will this recipe make?

This recipe will make one giant mug for you to warm up on a cold day or two smaller mugs perfect to share with a child.

You can easily double, triple, or quadruple this recipe for a larger group of people.

I hope you enjoy a mug of this with your kiddos or curled up on the couch by yourself enjoying some quiet.
