Method
- Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan and heat over medium heat.
- Whisk all the ingredients together and let warm to a low simmer for a few minutes.
- Serve in mugs with whipped cream and some extra cinnamon on top.
Notes
You can use pumpkin pie spice in place of the cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg if you have it. Add about 2 teaspoons of the pumpkin pie spice, but also add in about a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon.
This pumpkin hot chocolate is very rich. You can omit the cream and replace with milk if you would prefer a less rich drink.
