Grab out a large cast iron skillet.
Next, turn on the stove to medium heat.
Melt the butter in the hot skillet.
Add the corn and stir it up for a few minutes, cooking it up a bit.
Add the water to the skillet. Stir it around and cook for a few more minutes.
Then sprinkle the corn starch over the top and stir it in.
Next, add the cream and again, stir it up.
Check the flavor and add salt and pepper if needed.
You can also add some sugar if your corn isn't sweet enough.
